Japan international Takehiro Tomiyasumade his debut for Premier League giants Arsenal against Norwich City on Saturday afternoon. The Japanese utility player was named in the Arsenal starting XI following his big transfer from Bolognaon deadline day as far as this summer’s transfer window is concerned.Arsenal paid around £17m to secure the signing of the Japaninternational.

Japan national team defender Tomiyasustarted the fourth league game of the season for the Gunners at home to Norwich City on the right side of defence and he lasted for a little over an hour before he was replaced by Emile Smith-Rowe. The scoreline was goalless at the time of his exit but it didn’t stay that way for long after club skipper Pierre-EmerickAubameyang scored from close range five minutes later. It turned out to be the only goal of the game as the Gunners picked up their first win of the season in the league.
